My friend, Angela, implored me to take this course with Emily. We talked at length about the topics and ideas that this class covers. I'm very excited about taking a course that will both challenge and rattle my preconceived notions of our culture. I know that I am going to take a great deal away from this class with me.
Lately, I've been very interested in our planet. Particularly America and how horribly skewed the perspectives of reality have become. I want to learn how we got to this state, I want to be able to dissect what's going on and understand it from the inside. I am going to change it, and I am going to make this planet beautiful.

There is a lot of research going on right now about not only what we should be doing for the environment but how these messages and this information affects our perceptions of the global community. I hope you find time to do some work on this front; it's fascinating.
Yeah, the whole situation is very intriguing. I'm hoping to tie my postmodernism case study in with this topic somehow.
