culture

I choose this course Cultural Studies not because i needed it as a requirement but because it sounded very interesting. I really did not know what to expect from the class. I wanted to know what the class was all about. Culture interests me because I would like to learn about others culture. I would like to know where it all started and how their culture influences other cultures. I know about my own culture, but it would be nice to step outside the box and learn about other people's culture. By assuming certain things about what others do you automatically think that is what it is all about. I would like to learn the true meaning about others culture. Culture to me means people's traditions and their way of life. We all are different and we all have different cultures, but in a lot of ways all cultures are similar. I want to learn what makes cultures similar and different.
